Leave a comment below: What are other tips you have for inviting someone to church? And if you invited others recently, how was it? We’d love to hear!

TIPS FOR INVITING OTHERS

  1. BE YOURSELF: Don’t overthink it! Use words and phrasing that feel natural to how you usually talk.
  2. THINK OF OTHER CIRCLES OF PEOPLE: Think about inviting specific people from communities you’re involved in outside of church – such as:
    • work groups
    • neighborhood groups
    • interest-based Facebook groups
    • group text threads
    • family chat threads
  3. CONSIDER BOTH IN-PERSON OR VIRTUAL: Some ways you can invite people (including virtually) include:
    • texting or calling
    • emailing
    • social media messaging/DMs (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
    • during a hangout or conversation
    • sharing Echo’s social media posts (@echochurchlive on Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
    • posting on social media newsfeeds/groups/stories (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
